Multiple reports indicate that the Red Sox
will extend the $17.9 million qualifying offer to closer Craig Kimbrel. If Kimbrel turns

Despite a few shaky postseason outings, Kimbrel posted a stellar 2.74 ERA and 42 saves for the Red Sox in 2018. The right-hander made $13 million in 2018. Kimbrel has collected 333 saves and has recorded 868 strikeouts over his nine-year MLB career.
