In a virtually unreported story, a Red Sox fan was
stabbed five times after World Series-clinching Game Five by a mob of up to nine Dodger fans.
Josh Davis, age 36, is a Massachusetts native who currently lives and works in Los Angeles. He was walking in the Koreatown section of LA wearing a Red Sox hat, when he was confronted by a pair of Dodger fans who yelled the following at him,
"Get your [expletive] out of here, this is Dodger country right here." The two signaled for reinforcements and soon up to nine men confronted Davis. He was then stabbed five times by what Davis believes was a screwdriver. He also suffered several missing teeth and a fractured nose. Davis is in stable condition and recovering at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Reportedly, the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident—although to this point no arrests have been made. Stay tuned for further details as they develop.
