Hanley Goes Yard |
After the Red Sox released
Hanley Ramirez last May 25th, most observers thought some contending MLB team would eventually swoop in and pick him up. It never happened—and his old team went on to win a World Series Championship. Now,
HanRam is
back in the "swing" of things—playing for
Tigres de Licey in the
Dominican Winter League. Ramirez is hitting .300 through six contests—with a HR, two doubles and six RBIs. After an
extremely hot April, Hanley tailed off sharply in May—leading to his release. It will be interesting to see if any MLB teams take a "flyer" on him for the 2019 season. Stay tuned!
