The Red Sox activated third-baseman
Rafael Devers from the 10-day disabled list (left shoulder inflammation), where he was placed retroactive to July 11th. To make room for the 21-year-old, the sent LHP
Bobby Poyner back to AAA Pawtucket. In his first full MLB season, Devers is hitting .241, with 14 HRs and 48 RBIs. He may be in tonight's starting lineup in Detroit in the second game of the series.
