J.D. Martinez slugged his MLB-leading 32nd home run, and five Red Sox players had multiple hit games in a 14-hit attack, in
a 10-4 defeat of the Twins. Martinez's blast over everything in left put Boston ahead to stay—pushing the team to 40 games over .500 (73-33). Joining Martinez with more than one base knock were:
