J.D. Martinez as their
2018 June Player Of The Month. Martinez went on a blistering run in June—
hitting .347 with 7 HRs and 20 RBIs. He also slugged at .612 pace and registered an on-base percentage of .425 and an OPS of 1.037. His 34 hits and 22 runs scored led the Red Sox in those categories for June. In addition to his five June doubles, Martinez also swiped two bases. As the new month dawned, Martinez was leading all of baseball in home runs and RBIs. Martinez has also been a
durable leader on the team—with only
