placed beleaguered lefty starter Drew Pomeranz on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to June 2nd) with the nebulous malady of "bicep tendinitis" (AKA Fenway Flu). This allows
Steven Wright to get more than one start in his audition to move into the spot Pomeranz had in the rotation. Pomeranz has delivered a dismal 1-3 record with a 6.81 ERA so far this season.
Brandon Workman was called up to fill the roster spot that was occupied by Pomeranz.
