It was pretty much a team effort last night as Boston
easily defeated the Tigers, 7-1. The offense was powered by
Andrew Benintendi (2-2, 2RBIs, HR),
Xander Bogaerts (3-4, 2RBIs) and
Christian Vazquez (3-4, 2RBIs, HR).
Eduardo Rodriguez handled the pitching—going 5.2 innings and giving up just one earned run, gaining his seventh victory of the year.
