David Price thought he had one of his better changeups of the season last night—apparently the Rangers liked it, too. Price had his third straight stinker of a game—yielding nine runs in 3.2 innings. This one was pretty much over before it started thanks to the ineffectiveness of the lefty starter in
the eventual 11-5 loss. We would not be surprised to see him go on the disabled list soon—because if he's
healthy, then it's a
really scary situation. The only upside to this game was
Mookie Betts clouting his MLB-leading 12th HR. In addition to Betts,
J.D. Martinez and
Christian Vazquez had multiple hit games. Boston's lead in the AL East is down to
one game—their fingertips are "tingling" as they cling perilously to the top spot.
