Not surprisingly,
Mookie Betts has been named as FenwayNation's
March/April 2018 Player Of The Month. The Red Sox right-fielder hit an amazing .344 in 24 games during this period—with 11 doubles, 8 HRs and 18 RBIs. Betts is slugging at .733 and boasts a team-leading OPS of 1.173. Mookie is also second on the team (to
Andrew Benintendi) in walks—giving him a robust on-base percentage of .439 (also best on the team). Betts is on-pace to have his best year at the plate since 2016—projecting to collect 209 hits. Of course, Mookie's offensive prowess is augmented by his amazing defensive skills. He is likely to snare his
third Gold Glove this season. Congratulations to Mookie—our
March/April FenwayNation Player Of The Month.
