Evil Ones May Go 'Cheap' In 2019 Free Agency With OF Pollock And P Corbin
Since it was revealed that The Bronx Embalmers are significantly under the MLB Luxury Tax threshold, rumors of their upcoming gluttony in the 2019 free agent market have ratcheted up. With such prized stars as Bryce Harper, Manny Machado, Josh Donaldson and Clayton Kershaw in the forefront of next year's "meat market", it's been assumed that The Pinstriped Posers would snare one and maybe two of the top four. Now, reports are surfacing that Brian Cashman may be setting his sights a little lower, eyeing two Diamondbacks—outfielder A.J. Pollock and starting pitcher Patrick Corbin. Pollock is kind of a "stealth" star—who is already off to a huge start in 2018. Corbin is a legitimate Cy Young contender. So, Cashman should be in the running for multiple Executive Of The Year nods if he pulls off something like this. Stay tuned!
