Wow,
Tyler Austin is such a magnanimous guy! After his cheap-shot slide into second base on April 11th (and his subsequent plunking by
Joe Kelly) Tyler sees
no need to talk things out with
"Jim Buchanan" during the current series at
The Concrete Bunker On 161st Street. Said Austin,
"No chance. I didn't know him beforehand, so I don't need to talk to him now. No. We're not talking. I don't think there's any need to talk". Such a typical Yankee. For his part, Kelly was worried about some of the Bronx hooligans taking retribution out on him. Said Joe,
"Maybe I'll need an umbrella. I hope nothing gets thrown or poured on us." Austin retorted with this:
"He's worried about that? Nobody's going to throw anything at him. And I don't want anything to happen. I don't want anybody to throw things at a player. That's how you can get hurt." Wow, Tyler's a rocket scientist, too! Maybe they can "meet" at the mound again before the series (or season) ends. Then they can chat.
