The Red Sox
made companion roster moves today—activating shortstop
Xander Bogaerts from the disabled list and also placing IF/OF
Brock Holt on the 10-day disabled list. Bogaerts—who suffered an ankle fracture just nine games into his season—was one of the team's hottest hitters before he went down. Holt, similarly, was on-fire in his subbing role for Bogaerts before suffering a left hamstring injury last night. Weather permitting (which it is decidedly
not at the moment), Bogaerts could start tonight's game against Tampa.
