'The Office' alum
John Krasinski is a Red Sox fan—and he's proud to show off that fact. The actor recently revealed to
Jimmy Fallon (who, as the star of
'Fever Pitch',
knows his Red Sox lore) that he once
learned a valuable life lesson about sporting Boston gear in New York City. Back when he was an intern at NBC's 30 Rockefeller Center, he went out into the wilds of
Baghdad-On-the-Hudson with a
Nomar Garciaparra jersey on. Said Krasinski,
"I was walking along about to get lunch and just something hit me in the back of the head. It was a full, cream cheese bagel." How New York. Apparently, a rogue NYC cabbie (are there any
other kind?) decided to make his allegiances known in the only way he knew how—by hurling food.
