Pomeranz Injury Calls Into Question Medical Competence
Once again, the competence of the Red Sox medical and training staff has to be called into question. Added to the litany of troubling, long-term injuries already evident, Drew Pomeranz left yesterday's exhibition game with left-arm tightness—the same issue that's troubled him in the past. Who are these bozos treating players? If Pomeranz goes down for a significant period, it will mean there are as many questions in the rotation as there are sure things (Eduardo Rodriguez and Steven Wright both have unclear physical maladies). Since the Red Sox are already over the luxury tax threshold, why not go for it and sign Jake Arrieta to truly solidify the rotation?
