not at DH. In an exhibition tilt this afternoon in Fort Myers, the new Boston slugger will take his first hacks in anger while wearing
Carmine Hose. A
lot of eyes will be on him—as much for his defensive play as his hitting. Manager
Alex Cora has Martinez batting clean-up today—behind
Hanley Ramirez and ahead of
Xander Bogaerts. It will be interesting to see where he settles into a standard, everyday line-up once the season begins. Stay tuned!
