Although our morning has been ruined by a clearly superior football team from Philly, we
can look forward to something special today. The true harbinger of Spring in New England is the departure of the Red Sox equipment truck to Fort Myers. No matter the weather, hundreds of fans show up on
Yawkey Way to see the 20,400 baseballs and 1,100 bats get loaded into a giant moving van as it pulls out through the snow and cold to sunny Florida. That will happen
today at Noon. While
Dave Dombrowski has still not solved the power shortage in the Boston lineup, hope springs eternal—or at least until
Opening Day.
