Just when you thought it was safe to think about the 2018 season,

The Bronx Embalmers are putting together a trade proposal to get
Manny Machado. The three-team transaction would have
The Pinstriped Posers sending three mid-level prospects to the Tampa Bay Rays—who would
then send
Jake Odorizzi to the Orioles. Baltimore, in turn, would send Machado to New York in exchange for
Jacoby Ellsbury (with the
Steinbrenner Brood eating a lot of his salary) and top 3B prospect
Miguel Andujar. Crazy! But, can you imagine the Yankee line-up with Stanton, Judge and Machado back-to-back-to-back? It's too grotesque to contemplate.
