Ah, how the mighty have fallen! The once solid Red Sox farm system now sports
just two prospects in the
Baseball America Top 100. And, both are in the
lower tier of the list. Only pitcher
Jay Groome (#83) and third-baseman
Michael Chavis (#85) appear on the new
BA list. Despite all of their transactions this Winter,
The Evil Ones still have the #6 prospect in shortstop
Gleyber Torres. And, ahead of the Boston players,
The Pinstriped Posers also have #39
Brendan McKay, #41
Justus Sheffield, #59
Miguel Andujar, #77
Albert Abreu, and #81
Chance Adams. Bummer.
