After reports that
Theo Epstein had made a "substantive" offer to the Orioles of three Cubs players to land
Manny Machado, word comes that—in fact—
the three-time All-Star is back on the market. The Red Sox are
not among the still-interested teams, which include: the Cubs, Cardinals, White Sox, Yankees, Giants, Phillies, and Diamondbacks. Reportedly, the Red Sox had earlier offered
Xander Bogaerts,
Eduardo Rodriguez and
