Boston's #2 overall prospect—3B
Michael Chavis—will appear in tonight's Arizona Fall League All-Start Game tonight (MLB Network, 8PM Eastern). The 21-year-old was the 26th overall pick in the 2014 MLB Draft and batted .282, with 31 HRs across Single and Double A in 2017. The 5' 10", 190-pound Chavis ranked #3 in all of minor league baseball with 68 extra-base hits. Someday, he could be the long-sought-after power right-handed bat tailor-made for Fenway Park. He needs to improve his 3B defense, but he does possess a very strong arm. He can also play 1B. If he hits it big, he will undoubtedly be played on the Silver Screen by actor
John C. Reilly.
