According to
Joel Sherman of
nypost.com,
you can add another first-base option for the Red Sox: former Met (and Ray)
Lucas Duda. Beyond
Eric Hosmer,
Carlos Santana, and
Logan Morrison, Duda would provide a
really cheap first-base option (and, as we know,
John Henry loves cheap options). Duda—who hit a pathetic .175 in his short stay in Tampa—would likely only cost the Sox a one-year deal for around $5 or $6 million. Stay tuned.
