Eduardo Nunez. When asked to pick the best "fill-in" for injured 2B
Dustin Pedroia, Nunez captures almost six votes in ten (58%). Since Boston did not make Nunez a qualifying offer, he is free to sign anywhere—making it tougher for the Red Sox to re-sign him. As the chart shows,
Brian Dozier garners the next highest percentage of votes as Pedey's "fill-in" (25%), followed distantly by
Marco Hernandez and
