'The Horror, The Horror' |
As we reported on November 16th,
The Bronx Embalmers have
already had preliminary talks with
Derek Jeter and the Marlins about
Giancarlo Stanton. Their typical
slimy-stealth approach seems to be continuing—as, according to
FanRag.com's J
on Heyman,
The Pinstriped Posers have had further talks with Miami. Any deal is suspected to have to include a few of their (admittedly) good prospects along with some combination of major league 'talent' (e.g.,
Jacoby Ellsbury,
Chase Headley,
Brett Gardner). Of course, per Jeter's outrageous demand,
The Evil Ones would
also have to "eat" most (or
all) of Stanton's $295 million contract. Stay tuned!
