Gable Kapler, who played four of his twelve MLB seasons with the Red Sox,
will be named the new manager of the Philadelphia Phillies. The 42-year old Kapler's only managerial experience was for Boston's Single A Greenville team back in 2007. Starting in 2014, Kapler has been the player development director for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In his time in Boston, Kapler hit .270 with 13 HRs and 77 RBIs—and was known for his hustle and smarts. Best of luck, Gabe!
