Alex Cora And 'Stros One Win Away From Title, Win 13-12
Soon-to-be Red Sox manager (and current Astros bench coach) Alex Cora is one win away from a World Series title. In a wild and wacky Game Five, the Astros outlasted the Dodgers 13-12 in 10 innings. Despite two of the best lefty starters in the game on the hill, the two teams bashed out seven homeruns—five by Houston and two by Los Angeles. The final walk-off hit by 23-year-old Astro third-baseman Alex Bregman capped a game of huge momentum swings and high tension. Houston can capture the franchise's first ever World Series title on Tuesday night in LA—with ace Justin Verlander on the mound. (Getty Images)
