Red Sox Boost Ticket Prices Again For 2018 Season
Hey, Sox fans, it's been easy the last few years for you and your family to make ends meet, right? Well, billionaire team owner John Henry apparently thinks that's the case. The Red Sox announced another ticket increase for the 2018 season—boosting the average ducat 2.5%. An increase has occurred in six of the last ten years. Henry, of course, made his fortune on manipulating arcane financial derivatives—we're sure he'll "derive" some pretty healthy profits from all of us next year. The only seats that won't get increases are: Field Box (Sections 9-16 & 71-82), Loge Box (Sections 98-102 & 156-165), Budweiser Right Field Roof Deck, Pavilion Box, Pavilion Reserved, Grandstand (Sections 11-12 & 28-31), and all Standing Room. Everybody else: Pony Up!
