One thing is for certain—
never make
Chris Sale upset. After his worst outing of the season, the Red Sox ace came out last night with one of his best—
8 innings, 0 runs, 2 H, 13 Ks, 1 BB. It was an awesome display of just how good Sale can be in
the 2-0 victory. The lanky lefty didn't need much run support, but got enough—mostly thanks to multiple hit performances from
Eduardo Núñez (3H),
Xander Bogaerts (3H),
Andrew Benintendi (2H) and
Jackie Bradley, Jr. (2H, RBI).
Rafael Devers notched the other RBI. The key win increased Boston's division lead to four full games over
The Bronx Embalmers and 6.5 over Tampa.
