The Great Nick Punto Trade that took place exactly five years ago today (boy, does time fly!). As the chart shows, just under one-third of our sample (29%) believe that
both teams benefited equally from the trade that sent Punto,
Carl Crawford,
Adrian Gonzalez and
Josh Beckett to the Dodgers and gave the Sox a
quarter-of-a-billion dollars in salary relief. A scant 14% think the Dodgers got more out of the deal. You can still vote in the poll
