Chris Young was inserted into RF and the clean-up spot today as
Mookie Betts took a well-deserved day off. Not to be outdone, Young clouted
two HRs and collected
five RBIs in Boston's
6-3 win over the hapless Pale Hose. Of course,
Eduardo "The Babe" Nunez contributed his requisite HR as well.
Doug Fister picked up his second win with Boston—going 6.1 innings and allowing three earned runs. The veteran walked none and struck out seven.
Craig Kimbrel worked the 9th for his 27th save of 2017. In sweeping the four-game series, Boston maintained its three-game lead on
The Bronx Embalmers.
