It's bad enough when you get swept by a team in your own division—but when they're dressed like so many Creamsicles®, it's even
more galling. The vaunted
Raiders Of The Lost Offense were back in force this weekend—especially in
yesterday's 2-1 loss. Leaving
thirteen men on base is a travesty, and considering how well
Doug Fister pitched again, a real shame. The tall righty gave up two early runs, but buckled down to go seven innings—giving up just five hits. Boston tallied four doubles, but just one run. Pathetic.
No biscuit! On to
The Great White North and then
Baghdad-On-The-Hudson.
