Dennis Eckersley contretemps. At last night's game,
The Eck was featured in the
'Legends Suite' and was given a rollicking ovation when he was announced to the crowd. It was later revealed that
Eckersley has no intention of talking things through with Price. In an interview with
Dan Shaughnessy of
The Boston Globe, Eck stated,
"I’m cool with everything. I’ve moved on. I’m just going to keep doing what I do, which is call it like I see it. It’s all about the Red Sox and the ultimate goal of winning it all." Price had expressed a desire to talk to the Hall-of-Famer—but
also did not apologize for his initial remarks. Eckersley declined the offer.
