Sandy "Ricky" Leon. The stocky back-stop ended
last night's 9-8 victory when he scampered home on a ground-out—eluding the tag with an athletic slide. There are too many highlights to mention in the back-and-forth battle—but a few offensive stars did stand out:
Eduardo Núñez (3-6, 2 HRs, 3RBIs),
Christian Vazquez (3-4, 2 RBIs),
Rafael Devers (2-5, 1 RBI). The win kept Boston a half-game back of
The Evil Ones.
