Two significant moves were made by the Red Sox as they face the biggest two games of the season on Sunday. The team placed one of their best set-up guys—
Joe Kelly—on the 10-day DL (retroactive to Wednesday) with a hamstring strain. Also, Boston activated all-around utility guy
Brock Holt from the DL—
at least temporarily. Due to the new "double-header 26th man rule", the Red Sox get an extra guy today—but Holt will likely be sent back to Pawtucket after the games. He is recovering (since April 20th) from vertigo.
