This whole "reigning"
Cy Young crap has got to stop.
Rick Porcello tossed another
very Non-Cy-Like game yesterday—leading to
a 7-1 defeat at the hands of the Astros. Porcello coughed up three runs in the very first inning—digging an enormous hole Boston could never crawl out of. Having said that, the incredibly inconsistent Red Sox offense sputtered again—collecting just three miserable hits—one a solo blast by emergency DH
Chris Young. This one was bad from the get-go—but not quite as bad as the blue Father's Day uniforms donned by the
Carmine Hose.
