Red Sox fans around the world are wishing team legend and broadcaster
Jerry Remy the very best on his Monday surgery. The
RemDawg will undergo another procedure tomorrow to deal with his recurring lung cancer. Your
Editor-In-Chief had the honor of having Remy as his manager at Red Sox Fantasy Camp in Winter Haven, Florida
way back in 1992. In batting practice, Jerry consistently struck me out with a 'down-and-in' breaking ball. As he told me every morning,
"OK, I know exactly how to get this lefty out". And he
did. Get back in the broadcast booth soon, Jerry!
