Apparently, the Yankees are
really suffering from
Ring Envy. The last Red Sox championship was just a few years back in 2013. However, you have to go back nearly a decade (2009) to find a Pinstriped ring. So, I guess we can forgive them for their silly little trolling on social media. After last night's game, the
official Yankee Instagram site had this almost embarrassing post:
"Win. Dominate. Repeat. Final: Yankees 9, The Team Still In 2nd Place 1." So witty! All this, after trolling
David Ortiz—who is retired—just a few days ago. Poor babies.
