Boston Ranked #8 Worldwide In Quality Of Life Survey
Not that we had to be told it or anything, but a new survey sponsored by Deutsche Bank ranks Boston as #8 worldwide for quality of life. Not surprisingly, Boston is the top-ranked U.S. city—with Chicago (#22) and San Francisco (#18) being the only other two on the list. Which, of course means that Baghdad-On-The-Hudson didn't make the cut. The overall rankings took into consideration the following factors: purchasing power, safety, health care, cost of living, property price to income ratio, traffic commute time, pollution, and climate. Obviously, if traffic and climate were not in the mix, and world championship teams were, Boston would easily be #1.
