Mookie Betts went 4-4—finishing a triple short of the cycle—but his teammates fell to the Brewers in
an 11-7 slugfest.
Drew 'Damaged Goods' Pomeranz performed like his nick-name—going just four innings and giving up six earned runs (five in the first, wiping out a 1-0 Boston lead). The Red Sox made some comeback attempts, but seemed over-matched at every turn.
Andrew Benintendi had another solid game—going 3-4 with two RBIs. The vaunted bullpen (that so many people think is somehow great) gave up five additional runs to make the defeat certain. Bad loss, no biscuit.
