Red Sox Seek To Build Fenway Replicate In Pawtucket, RI
For years, you've heard us rant about the need for a 21st century replicate of Fenway Park for Red Sox fans. You know, seats wide enough for modern-day butts, no obstructions and freaking cup holders! Well, finally, the NOG (New Ownership Group) may be listening. Well, not really. The problem is, it's not for the major league venue—but a proposed AAA complex in Rhode Island. According to reporting by The Providence Journal, the Red Sox want to replicate the exact dimensions of Fenway Park in Pawtucket—along the 'not-so-scenic' Blackstone River. Great idea! Now move that concept up I-95 about 53 miles!
