One Of Nava's HRs Today |
More than likely,
Joe Blanton has nightmares about
Daniel Nava. It was off Blanton that Nava hit a grand slam in his first MLB at-bat—
on the first pitch he ever saw in the big leagues. That storybook ride in Boston screeched to halt for Nava after the 2013 World Series Championship season.
But, so far today, the 34-year-old switch-hitter has recaptured his earlier magic by
clouting two HRs for the Phillies in support of a
another old friend—
Clay Buchholz. We could not be happier for Nava—one of classiest players ever to don
Carmine Hose.
