Red Sox Fan Favorite Kevin Youkilis Turns 38 Today
It's hard to believe that Kevin Youkilis is pushing forty. The brother-in-law of Tom Brady was a long-time fan favorite in Boston—inspiring the signature "Yooooooooouk" chant each time he came to bat. 'The Greek God Of Walks' (who actually isn't Greek but of Jewish heritage) turns 38 today. While he's general viewed as a lovable over-achiever, it's important to remember that he finished third in the AL MVP voting back in 2008. That season, Youk hit .312, with 29 HRs and 115 RBIs. Of course, he was always on on-base machine—finishing with a ridiculous career on-base percentage of .382. In his nine years in Carmine Hose, Youk hit .287, with 133 HRs, 564 RBIs and an on-base percentage of .388. Happy birthday, Youk!
