Yikes! Apparently the parent companies of
WEEI (93.7 FM) and
The Sports Hub (98.5 FM) are merging.
Entercom and CBS Radio will tie the unnatural knot and throw the Boston sports talk world into a tizzy. The two competing talk giants ('EEI, 98.5) are like oil and water—equally slimy and polluted (sorry, that just flowed too easily off the tongue). In any event, there are bound to be major changes in the offing. Stay tuned—
