As the Red Sox begin their first week of 2017 Spring Training, fans should keep in mind that they will
end the Grapefruit League season in
crab country. On April 1 (no joke),
The Carmine Hose will take on the Washington Nationals at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The final exhibition tilt of the year will be the first ever Naval Academy Classic. One day earlier, Boston will take on
Bryce Harper and company in DC at Nationals Park. And two days
after the Naval Academy Classic (to be televised nationally on ESPN), the Sox will open their
regular season at home against
Andrew McCutchen and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Tickets for the April 1 game in Annapolis can be purchased
