'Nappy-Time' To Get Even Better For Red Sox Millionaires
Way back in September of 2013, we brought you a story about a new "nap room" for Red Sox players at Fenway. Since they went on to win the World Series that year, not much controversy was stirred by the issue. Now, it appears that the team is embarking on a major renovation of the clubhouse sleep area—complete with a sort of sleep consulting firm called Bedgear to "customize" the bedding to each player. Hanley Ramirez seems to like it, "The one [mattress] I had was too soft. How many hours can I sleep without waking up, that is the big thing for me. It changes the way you play. It's unbelievable. When you're young you don't think about stuff like that." Wait a minute, didn't Hanley just come down with shoulder soreness? Oh, well.
