Yet More Non-Baseball Stuff At Fenway Park In 2017
The NOG (New Ownership Group) likes to have it both ways. On the one hand, the tell us that 105-year-old Fenway Park is a 'cathedral of baseball' that can never be replaced—no, no, heaven forbid that Red Sox fans get legroom, or an un-obstructed view of the game! On the other hand, they "defile" the cathedral with every manner of non-baseball stuff (concerts, soccer, hockey, football) to squeeze every penny they can out of the joint. Now, we hear that next November there will be three more Division I college football games on the "Hallowed Hardball" grounds. Such bunk. Such hypocrisy.
