After stinking up the Japanese league last season, former Red Sox pitcher
Daisuke Matsuzaka has possibly found new life in the Puerto Rican Winter League. Playing for
Gigantes de Carolina, Dice-K ended up hurling a total of 20 innings and posting a very respectable 2.70 ERA. He will also likely pitch for the Japanese National Team in the upcoming
World Baseball Classic this March. Then, he hopes to re-start his career in the
Nippon Professional Baseball League. Who knows, he may be back on an MLB team someday?
