According to
MLBPipeline.com, a new poll of baseball executives shows that Boston's
Andrew Beneintendi is the #1 prospect in all of baseball. Ironically, finishing second is
former Red Sox top prospect
Yoan Moncada—traded to
The Pale Hose for
Chris Sale. The likely starting Red Sox LF garnered ten votes—twice as many Moncada's five. Atlanta's
Dansby Swanson, and
Gleyber Torres of
The Evil Ones finished third and fourth, respectively. Although Benintendi had 105 ABs last year (hitting .295 you might remember), he is still under the 130-AB threshold for rookie status in 2017.
