"The Fastest Glove In The East"—combining a comeback offensive season with his signature stellar defense. A couple of other
Carmine Hosers got honorable mentions—
Jackie Bradley, Jr. in CF and
Rick Porcello at pitcher. Oddly, MVP runner-up
Mookie Betts wasn't even mentioned. A former Red Sox player
did win another spot—
