After dithering around yesterday before making the
obvious cancellation call, the Red Sox should have clear (albeit blustery) weather for Monday's
Game Three of the ALDS (6:08 PM ET, TBS). While the temperature may
seem mild (a high of 57 degrees), the 20 MPH winds should drop that down considerably. Be sure to "layer-up" if you're coming to Fenway Park tonight. Another positive is that today is
Columbus Day in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (thankfully not yet politically-corrected to
Indigenous Peoples' Day), so traffic should be
relatively light. It's do or die for
The Carmine Hose—as this game could possibly be the last of
David Ortiz's illustrious career.
